How do I get the old PC version?

With the "Definitive Edition" released, how can we get the old PC releases of the trilogy?

One of the guides in this steam forum used to have the whole downgraded 1.0 version of the game for download for free lol via a dropbox link. I just looked and i cannot find it anymore it must of got removed.

i recall telling someone else about his and that they should download it because they where having trouble with the downgraders at the time. That post is also gone so they must of removed it.

i tried to download the PS2 port of the game same with 3 and VC. i think that makes life easy

The link up there is a guide for gta sa updated classic which is also pinned to the discussion board funnily enough. its really the most definitive way to play the game.

In the downloads section they have the entire game you can just download and play directly without any issues (they have done everything for you lol), it includes all the necessary modifications enough to make the game feel classic and be playable without bugs and glitches.

that is it lol i must of missed it because it was not coming up when i looked for it,
for some reason i never read pins i think its because my eyes always gravitate towards new posts that are highlighted. Like i also never really notice them and i think its because most of the time they don't hold anything relevant so i have trained myself to skim over them i guess.

IIRC, GTA:SA doesn't have any aticheat or license checker.
Just ask someone who owns the game to zip and send the game folder, launch through gta-sa.exe and you are good to go

legal way: get the trilogy edition from the official rockstar store comes with vice city and GTA 3
legal way: try to buy the keys from other sites if you redeem the key you will still get it even tho it's deleted
illegal way: steamunlocked
