You'll need to edit the .ini file to select control setup 2.
Go to where you mod is installed e.g. C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas\modloader\GInputSA_1.11
Open with notepad GInputSA.ini
Scroll down till you see [Pad1] , couple lines lower see ControlsSet=1 change it to ControlsSet=2
done
The Asi Loader loads .asi files. I recommend you get the Silent Patch itself if you haven't already ( http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=25368 ), because that's why I posted the Asi Loader in the first place.
Have fun and if you have any issues, feel free to post here again.
Thanks for the attention, appreciate it :)
From what I understand there is little to no compatibility. I'd just recommend sticking to downgrading, plus there is more music in the downgraded version anyway.
Oh ok. I've been trying to get this new California Megamod 3.0 to get working and it's very confusing (good practice for the Spanish though). I tried some of the automatic downloader stuff for models/textures from GTAall website, and there was little to no compatibility (good practice for the Russian though).
Thanks, I didn't realize all my mod troubles were related from poor quality port optimization. I didn't really play this game much at all when I was a kid so I'm new to all this. I do wish the PC version had the cool orange atmosphere of the original cuz I'm from LA and I dig it.
