Is cracked version better?

I want to buy Vice City and San Andreas before the sale ends. But they say it's way too buggy and unplayable compared to cracked one. Is it true?

what? it depends on the game version you have, best thing to do is either buy a version 1.0 CD DVD ROM and apply either 1.1 patch or silent patch or buy the steam version and downgrade to 1.0 with silent patch or 1.1

Simply use the downgrader used in this video. I am currently at 280 hours into the game without AFK-ing, completed the game 100% with all the extra stuff and now I'm playing SA:MP and MTA with other players, having a blast.
After using the downgrader following the video (which is extremely simple), you can check the second link which is a guide so you can install a launcher so you can select which game to play (singleplayer, samp or MTA). Also, with the downgrader you can select installing modloader, manually install CLEO, then rename the exe just as shown in the steam guide. If you only want to play single player, ignore the renaming and the second link, just enjoy the game. Mods work, ENB's, graphical mods, timecycle mods, texture mods, vehicles, anything. Have fun.
I've spent over 5000 hours on the non-steam version (mostly on SA:MP) even though I have a very high end PC and I can play any game on steam but for some reason, this one satisfies me, so I'm telling you that it's worth it and uncomparable to VC.
