There were several points in the game where I was not sure what to do next and had to explore around a lot to figure it out. If anyone else gets stuck, I'm happy to help out.

Not sure if I'm just blanking out, but I can't seem to open the room to the left of the main Basement entrance. Been trying to visit it with different companions, looking for buttons, shooting and clicking every surface in sight. Can someone give me a hint? It's driving me crazy....

I have tried everything and I have no idea how to get this guy to join the team. Can anyone enlighten me or at least give a clue?

sorry to say... but the game feels unfinished and unpolished. not just because a couple of minor bugs.. but the pace of the story just does not feel right in the end. body-book-endboss... this whole section does not even contain a proper dialogue. the game starts which such a dense description of the world via dialogues and ends with nothing remotely related to this. as if paul was out of time and/or motivation. Hey, so to start from the beginning, after I repaired the ladder, I went back to the bar and got the key items in there. Eventually I got the demon claw and I immediately combined the items and got the essence before I was told to head back to grab those key items from the bar. Now the game won't let me hand over the essence and essentially I can't progress any further even though I have the essence in my inventory. Am I doing something wrong? Am I supposed to combine the essence into something else then h...
