What do you think would happen to Tommy Vercetti after Vice City events?
Share your thoughts, here's my theory:

From a realistic crime perspective Tommy Vercetti would have to create a partnership with the Leone Crime Family as both organizations are I.O.C. (Italian Organized Crime) and they share a common enemy; The Forellis.

The Leones would benefit a lot from this since Tommy would supply them with South American drugs as he had Colonel Cortez in his pocket.

I believe that Tommy would continue to be the king for the next few decades moving from one supply line to the other to keep in business.

If anybody has seen the movie "Blow" which events are around the same era, you would know that people like Pablo Escobar used to supply this type of Americans, so a solid organization like the Vercettis would be an interesting business venture for any drug baron.

What about Tommy's "gang"?, Who are they?

After going through the storyline a few times I thought that the most realistic scenario for Vercetti to have that huge amount of henchmen in such a short amount of time would only be possible if a whole crew within the Forellis splintered from it and joined Tommy. That sort of thing tends to happen a lot in big organizations and according to the GTA information, the Forellis were the richest and biggest family of that time. So maybe Tommy had, I don't know, a relative, a friend, someone from jail or the neighborhood or someone who appreaciated Tommy when he was a Forelli foot soldier, even a Capo.

So, this so called "person" would be needed, it would have to be mafioso himself and important within the Forelli Mafia in order to bring that amount of "muscle" to Tommy's operation right away. This theoretical ally would owe Tommy his life or something and would back him up against Sonny, but also, would be very happy to become an actual boss in Florida along with Tommy with the potential of controlling the narcotics trade all the way up to Liberty City as a distribution center. This theory is made by considering that all of the "Vercetti Gang" in the game is Italian American with Quentin Vance as the only exception.

Going deeper (Spoiler Warning):





- Ken Rosenberg is seen at the "San Andreas Introduction Video" at a rehab clinic and then trying to reach Tommy but he never answers the call, so Rosenberg was on his own but still with some reputation with the Leones which is why Salvatore suggested him as the mafia handler in the Casino. This makes my theory of a Leone - Vercetti alliance a little bit more solid.

- In the same video we can see that Salvatore remarks that Sonny Forelli was killed in Vice City and that a new crime organization known as "The Sindaccos" started to grow bigger in Liberty City.

- In GTA III we see the Leones as the strongest and the Forellis very weakened.

Tommy's supply lines:

I think that the "Ricardo Diaz Cartel" was some sort of DTO (Drug Trafficking Organization) that worked for a Colombian wholesale operation like the Cali Cartel (Orejuela brothers).

So after taking Diaz out, Tommy would be working for The Medellin Cartel of Pablo Escobar Gaviria and the Ochoas.

The Cali Cartel was known for having operations in New York City and changed its name to Cartel del Norte del Valle. It's funny because I thought about this once and then I read it in some other page that the "Colombians" from GTA III seemed to be based in Cali operatives, and as they are Leone enemies all of this would make sense.
