Drops of blood and water bug.Please help me

When in game i kill somebody with a chainsaw blood drops appear on the screen,or ride boat there is water drops.The problem is that in this Steam version this drops are pixel or like square,it's very annoying.Do you know to fix it ?

I have been having the same issue. Subscribing to the thread now to see if anyone can find a way to make those faint boxes around the blood/water droplets disappear. I would have loved to drive around in the rain, but this problem makes that much less enjoyable.

do u guys found an answer? i have the same issue with skygfx and xbox droplets

I guess it's either a rare bug or everyone's too lazy to post a solution.
Go to .exe file's properties and check "Use 640 x 480 resolution" or smt like that, you can still set any resolution in the game itself. This should fix it.

I've never heard of this (or maybe I forgot) but installing the Silent Patch can probably fix it, like everything else. lol

it fixes, tho can't set resolution in-game - errors. forced to play in 640x480

So after doing some browsing, since I got the same issue, it seems the fix is to delete the gta_vc.set file in GTA Vice City User Files. I had installed the Silent patch and d8vk and it hadn't been fixed until I deleted said file. I don't know if it will work if you only delete the file without installing one of those or both, but that's what I did and it worked.

I just tried at 4k without any patches and deleting said file again. It is still working fine. Please let me know if it worked for you.

didn't work+it disabled ps2 enhancements. best solution for now is -1 option, even tho its not stated in configuration. its inferior pc droplets, but 1 and 2 gives me no droplets and 3 gives pixels
