I like the game, it's a cool idea with refreshing mechanics; and if that is all you want look not further.

BUT, the games pacing and balance are completely out of WACK.

On the recommended difficulty, I'm completing objectives at the end of the alchemists path while still on chapter 3, sitting on thousands of gold with nothing to spend them on and infinite resources. I don't have to think and can just brute force most problems.

If I bump the difficult up to hard, im barely getting by, grinding for gold, while still somehow completing end game tasks while only on chapter 2, because its a slog to get the gold for the alchemist station on hard so going to chapter 3 takes forever.

So the only ways to play the game are brain dead easy, or not much harder but a whoooole lot more grindy.

How are these the only two options? This game needs a rework on is progression and pacing.
