ingredients
what are your must have ingredients. I am thinking we just need 8 to cover each direction, i.e up, down, left, right, upper right, lower left, etc.

Foggy Parasol became something of a staple before I knew it.

The trick behind a lot of 1-ingredient-type potions is they usually need an ingredient that goes off in one direction, but not directly, they have to have to side-to-side movement in order to circumvent obstacles.

Foggy Parasol is not only capable of moving straight up, but also adjust left and right, allowing single-ingredient Invisibility and Levitation potions.

I like Mage Berry for the same reason, allowing single-ingredient Magical Vision, and thanks to the wine map, single-ingredient Hallucination.

Edit: Speaking of the new map, anyone notice the southern ("earth") direction pretty much has nothing? I was looking to justify using up my stash of Dryad's Saddle, and I usually like using Mudshroom, but besides a new Fragrance or Curse potion, there's not much in that direction that's actually worth the trouble.

I now have "at least one crystal seed growing bountifully and salt" as a must have. I realized I could make a lot of tricky water potions entirely out of a crystal and salt (without needing NEARLY as much salt as, say, a bunch of stickreed would require), though lining up the potion at the very end is...a pain. expect to save a step or two before and retry repeatedly XD

if you're just using up the boatloads of excess dryad's saddle, you can brew a bunch of strength 1 stoneskin 3 to sell to merchants with JUST 3 dryad's saddle.
You can actually get strength 2, not just 1

I'll upload a video in a sec
