The update was nice, but I liked the previous music more because it was gentle but not monotonous, relaxing, allowing me to focus on the game, and after the update, some of the tracks are too lively and distracting, which is why I had to turn the music down almost completely.
Could the next update introduce the ability to select tracks played in the game? It would be nice. :)

I agree with how you feel, though i am not opposed to the new music, the sleeping is really jarring with how it cuts off the song, and starts a new one. I use fast sleep so i get a ding at night and a whole new song dragging me out of that relaxing zen state.

I would like to see a setting option that allows me to skip the sleeping song, and keep the current song playing. although I would not mind the option for tracks played as well. :)

Thanks Devs! I am loving the new update so far (still getting into it). I appreciate the care you took, and the time. Lots of people complain that updates take awhile; I however understand it's a small team, with lives outside of the game, which I can see is a labour of love. Thank you for making one of my favourite chill games better.

Love the new update, but I have a quick quality of life suggestion;

To me it seems like when you save legendary recipes for crystals and salts it does not register already brewed and available potions/crystals available for use. A bit of a waste as well as shame, if you like me premake the ingredients for both the legendary recipes but also to sell to customers. It would be really neat if you could make that possible.

I'm not 100% sure this is what you mean but if you go into your legendary recipe there is an option to just brew the singular potion. It gets put into the alchemy machine BUT you can just take it out and use it as stock if you want.

I noticed that. However I want the option to use the multiple ingredients I have already made and present in my inventory.
The method you describe is fine in a pinch/single use. However it does make saving the potion recipes needed for the legendary recipes redundant once you have saved the recipe for crystals and salts, as it seems to work without caring for the original recipes. Especially since they are already written into the crystal or salt recipe once saved. It technically would also render some of teh crystal recipes redundant once you have their salt unlocked as so far you have no additional need for certain crystals once the salt recipes are created and saved.
I'm not about to tempt fate and delete a receipe or more just to check if it works without those potions in the book though. But if it does, then you could technically delete a lot of recipes and just brew those potions by brewing them in the legendary setup you mention if you need one or two for a customer. This to me breaks the game more than having the game recognize needed potions for crystals/salts in inventory and using those first before emptying the inventory for raw ingredient stock.
Hope it sorta clarifies what I mean as it's a bit difficult to articulate properly when my main language is not english. ^^;

I'm having so much fun with this, especially the garden, though is it just me or are there more plants and mushrooms that only go on the ground or cave floor than there are ground or cave floor slots.
Currently have all four garden rooms unlocked but I haven't quite gotten all the seeds yet, am I missing something?

I am having a lot of fun with this game, but one big issue I wanna bring up is readability on the map. Everything is the same tone of color, and I need to squint to see some of the very important lines. Like the dotted lines where portals lead and especially the thin line from your potion that leads to the center whenever I need to align it with the result.

Ca you Please add an accessibility option that adds some more contrast? Thank you a lot

As for the Garden Update? Love it. Just love it. I finally have enough basic ingredients where I feel secure in exploring the map.

Has anybody actually *fully* expanded their garden yet? I was able to find the first garden expansion upgrade, but only the one. I'm getting the merchant who sells crystal seeds, but I don't have the garden unlocked enough to plant them.

Has anyone else had this problem?

In my first 2.0 game I fully expanded the garden. It does take seeing the minotaur 6-8 times but it is possible. Just ignore the crystal seed merchant other than giving him potions tbh. If you're playing normal than buying from the dwarf is still a good way to get crystals.

Will this update also appear on GOG, or will the GOG.com version be skipped?

I love the new Update, but one thing would be awesome. Let us build our own difficulty with sliders, so we can adjust the merchant prices potion value etc. In classic the garden is way to powerful and makes the merchants useless and in the next difficulty the merchants are useless, because you lose money with brewing potions from bought ingrediants. It is an amaizing game and you did a great job, but I would love some adjustments here and there.

you need to finish the chapters and give the minotaur potions, to get the rest of the garden

The latest version has done wonders for fixing the ingredient scarcity problem from 1.1, which means there's significantly less stockpiling of alternative recipes for each potion. However, it feels a little overpowered. I think there's some rebalancing that still needs to happen, but loving the new mechanics nonetheless.

In v1.1 it took me 72 days to get to level 67.
In v2.0 I'm up to level 228 in only 44 days.
