You're going to need it in the future for one of the alchemy machine recipes so you might as well make it and make sure to SAVE the recipe! Also I sold the same one to one of the guard/soldier guys who asked for weak potions that guarded against a lot of things and I got the most I'd ever gotten from a single potion. It was like 23K once I medium haggled!

Actually, you can give him a potion of only one resistance. It worked for me. Just give him a Fire resistance 3 and you're good to go

I have to wonder if that's a version problem. Because I specifically verified that for another user on Reddit the other day.

An Acid Potion worked

An Acid Potion worked
If that was Acid, and not "Acid Protection", then that sounds like a bug. Because the 5 valid effects are Acid Protection, Fire Protection, Frost Protection, Lightning Protection, or Poison Protection.

(I know you probably meant Acid Protection, but best to be clear about it, since there is an Acid effect.)

My concern would be if the Frost Protection wasn't working, because that's what the redditor had problems with as well.

No. I mean acid. He accepted an acid potion.
Now I'd like to consider maybe I'm on the wrong thread? He was up against a bug or something...idk

Yes, you are indeed on the wrong thread.

The request you fulfilled was:
"We've excavated an abundant cave. It's guarded by a bug. A huge one with a shell like stone. We can't beat it. Give us a potion that will pierce the shell and you'll get more stones."

I can confirm - a third level Acid Potion is all it took to solve this. I mean, it makes sense - acid would burn through a bug's shell. A lot easier to make than what everyone else is saying too!
