It's definitely not (although that would make more sense given the "meaning" of a pomegranate). Pomegranates have internal segments with small round seeds and are round in shape. Dragonfruit are a chunk of white/pink flesh with little black seeds and have more a teardrop shape.

Dragon fruit are the single weirdest thing on earth! They look like a joke plastic fruit on the outside and white ice cream with poppy seeds on the inside! They also do not taste good in my opinion.

You are right, I had only seen dragon fruits with white insides, but after a quick google I found the red ones.

It COULD be a fig, I'll grant you that, given the shape and purple exterior. But the pink with black dot/seed interior lends itself more to dragonfruit in my opinion, as figs have pale seeds.

It is a magic game. Maybe its a dragon-fig XD.

No I don't know why I keep coming back to this, just that it amuses me greatly.
