Stress is key: it's on "make people like me", not "make people like me"

Yes, the intended meaning is "I want to cause people to feel favorably towards me", not "I want to create people who are similar to me". I thought Cyan_PL's suggestion was hilarious for pointing out the ambiguity, though.
