Do the days matter?
Is this like the Atelier games, where you can game over if you waste a bunch of days?

Or would there even be a point to wasting days? Like do events take a certain number of days to happen, or are they all chapter based?

I know that you need to deal with all the customers for the day before going to the next day, but you honestly could just tell them all no if you wanted to rush the days for any reason.

i think some merchants are time gated in the early days, but not for very long...
I am taking my sweet time progressing, Chapter 8, Day 45 and dont feel like i should have done something faster

Sorry late on this thread but a little more in depth question is there any time constraints in this game? I assume making the potion is a timed event but other than that is it super chill?

Outside of giving the customers which potion they want when they enter your shop, no.
When merchants / special npc who aren't your regular clientele ask for something there are 0 time constraints

there are absolutly no time constraints, potion crafting is not a timed event, you can take your time

Nope. No time constraints. Days don't matter either. If you really wanted to you could just speed through days in order to farm plants from the garden. You can spend as much time exploring the potion crafting maps as you want and leave the customers to (metaphorically) die from waiting. I haven't even completed chapter 6 yet and I'm on day 70
