Gamepad vs Mouse+KB
To people who tried both pad and M+KB - how comfortable are the gamepad controls in Potion Craft? This looks like a good cozy game for the couch but I worry it might require a lot of precise clicking, which I don't like to do with a joystick and triggers.

The way it controls with the pad is MOSTLY by cursor snapping to hot points which might sometimes be faster than mouse at times. You can free your mouse for precision with a trigger but it's mostly going to be for aesthetic reasons like arranging bottles in the world. I like to keep my salts on the table and I would need free-roam to put them back down where I like.

the game is more time sensitive than space sensitive.
You may need to grind/stir for a proper amount of time to plan your route well (you can always re-try grinding, stirring less so)
And you need to utilise good reflex to haggle.

You would need to learn how to PRECISELY control the grinding with very soft sideways movement if you want a partial path but you can put the ingredient back to your stash and re-try grinding it as many times as you need before dropping it in

Frankly, give it a try, it works quite well.

for perfect stirring, don't release the bumper when in the right place - hold it steady and press the action button to drop the spoon. releasing it might register as additional movement which might mess your location. I'm sure you'll figure it out :) Be gentle with your tools and you'll have success
