What do the symbols mean on the map?
What should I be following? What are the book icons for?
I've been on a whirling thing that spun around and I picked something up as the icon disappeared but what was it and was it for?

the books are exp, you get skill point when you collected enogh (top left corner)
The questionmarks are unknow potions. once you made them they will be replace by the icon of the potion (for example the heart for the healing potion)
