I'm sorry, but what do you want? What counts as "finished" to you? What about this is a "demo"? It's pretty great as is, and as far as the vast majority of reviews go, I'm not in the minority perception here. Maybe you should loosen up a bit, or go ♥♥♥♥♥ about things where most of a game's community would agree with you.

totally reasonable, the updates are taking way too long. They could've released 5 smaller updates in this time period instead of 1 giant one that's coming with no foreseeable release date.

Yeah, i also am waiting for that garden update 2.0 or whatever they called it..
Instead.. i keep getting ads ads ads in my feed about their price changes and other unimportant stuff.. this makes me think they're abandoning the game and just milk it as far as they can..

I don't blame you. I purchased and played this game two years ago, and had some fun with it and then decided to pick it up again when it had more features to try. I decided to boot it up again today (surely two years later, there would be some new things to try?), and played it for about 30 ingame days. The only thing that was new that I noticed was a tiered-difficulty haggling system and customers that rarely wanted strong or weak potions specifically. I wasn't expecting an incredible number of changes, but I am very underwhelmed. I thought a garden update was in the works a long time ago. There is no reason to complete another playthrough as it is (as far as I experienced) virtually the same experience as I remembered when I first played it.

This is officially the most childish thing i've read this year, and I do interact with actual children. For a "glorified demo", this game has a lot of content, i know $60 games with less hours of entertainment AND much less replayability at the same time. Sure the devs take their sweet time with updates, but it's not like this is the only game in the world, and it's not like you pay monthly fees or anything. You personally didn't pay ♥♥♥♥ if I got it right. Indeed people who get stuff for free are the most entitled. Instead of being such a crybaby, just go do something else and get back another year for something new.

the idea of losing patience and getting that frustrated over a game as chill as this is ridiculous imo... I assume this is a tiny tiny shop of maybe one to three devs who haven't made much in the way of real $$$ doing this wonderful game.. yeah it is taking an extremely long time for the update and the new teasers keep making me think I missed it and they are plugging the next one... but alas.. each time... not yet... still I for one haven't lost patience... I really enjoy(ed) the game. I have stopped playing at 70+% completed to wait for the update.. have plenty of other games to fill the gap in the meantime... when the update does release "I'll be back"

well from someone who bought the game myself. I am also tired of receiving dev blogs talking about awesome features that aren't in the game and have no actual release date on them. I'm still waiting patiently.
A way too imagine it is the game is a donkey, and the "update" blogs are a stick, an actual update would be a carrot tied to the stick pushing the community and game forward. But there is no carrot so the rider (the community) only has a stick, some people in the community can wait for the carrot, others are going to beat the donkey with the empty stick...
Basically, don't put out update blogs if there is no actual substance to them or they aren't going to be delivered anytime soon (instead blog > update game > blog > update game).

I kind of agree, they've been teasing the update for nearly a year like come on now sorry but for real can we get an ETA at least?! I don't think that's too much to ask for, like are we still going to be waiting this time next year?
