Why did I just lose my saved data?

I've been playing for hours and hours and I finished the chapter X this morning, and now everything is lost? I thought with 0.5.0 this wouldn't have happened anymore.

Same here! I had the game completed, and all my progress is gone upon update. We were told our saves would be compatible and still there. Did we lose them permanently?

just found this in the technical issues thread:
copy the save files from AppData\LocalLow\niceplay games\Potion Craft\Saves to AppData\LocalLow\niceplay games\Potion Craft\SavesSteam

Type in %appdata% then go to the main folder (back one from roaming) and select locallow and go from there :)
