Sideways potions on map

So I've encountered a new type of icon on the map. I can't get them to be strong (or more than weak even) upon looking closer it looks like the icon is turned sideways so the top of the potion marker should be turned - how do you make that happen because it always stays upright.

I suspect there's some sort of Legendary Recipe that alters the nature of a potion, you may need to advance along the chapters and experiment with the alchemy machine and have the alchemy NPC bring alchemy machine upgrades. That or there's something to do with the different liquid bases like Oil, but I'm leaning more towards the alchemy machine.

I've seen it on both the water and oil maps so yeah, it's prolly the alchemy machine. Thanks. I wondered if it was tied to progression, but just wanted to ask just in case I missed anything.

spoiler you must use moon salt, made from albedo and some other potions. The recipe is bought from the wizard person that sells enchanted paper

So how is one supposed to make it considering some of the recipe requires 3 magic protection in one of the components, while said rank can only be acquired by tilting.

Gotta keep trucking until you buy the Oil base unlock; Oil allows Strong on all resistance potions and some of the other outer types be default, but doesn't have all of the possible potion types on it.

It's a bit deceptive at first because the effects near the start all have tilts to them, but once you get past those you're set.
