What I like BEST (and the least) about this game.
Let me start off by saying that from the Demo, I can tell that this game has A LOT of potential.
Enough to make me super excited to see the final product, at a time when a lot of games disappoint.

That being said, I think what I like best about the game is the Crafting system itself (duh!).
Its not as simple as "Add this Herb with this Mushroom".

Not only does the ORDER of the Herbs matter, but things like "How much you Grind them" or "When and how long you stir" or "when you add extra Water" and a host of other things.

All in all, it makes it feel like you're actually using a RECIPE and not just following a crafting checklist. In fact, I fully expect guides to LOOK like Recipes once the game is finalized;
I.E something like;

"Add Grind Brown Mushroom to 80%, add to pot, stir for 5 Bars, add 3 pinches of Sun Salt, finish sturring, add 50% ground Green mushroom, stir till last Bar" etc etc.

Its going to be fun to see what kind of "Recipes" people come up with.

That being said, I think the WORSE part of the game, is the actual economy. Yes, its fun to make the potions, but after they're made, there's really nothing to DO with them, expect sell them. And when you DO sell them, there's nothing to BUY expect more herbs.

Granted, I expect this to change later, with new Tools, Equipment and items to buy that will upgrade the Shop and possibly the Garden. The Alchemy Machine in the basement is also intreseting, and I'm hoping its going to be used to make Enchanted Items or something.
Like putting in certain combos of Potions to create magic items and the like. Or upgrading tools even.

it would be nice to buy upgrades for the shop!
Maybe you dont start with the grinder or the water jar and have to buy it, and other things

Seconding the feedback that the entire concept and imagining of potionmaking as a map navigation is extremely interesting and unique.

I second that the map navigation is the core game mechanic that really makes this game, imo. I also like Tiago's suggestion of buying the grinder, water jar - along with the scheduled planting upgrades.
What I like least about the game is the haggle system. It's not very interesting, is barely worth it (except for huge quantity sales), time consuming - and I guess I'm not a big fan of timing tasks. To counterpoint myself, I do applaud the ability to use skill in a way to increase progression - but I just hope players will never be forced to use the current haggle mechanic to survive financially.
