Sug: autostir?
So as I'm having to craft certain potions that I either don't have a recipe for or am out of ingredients for my save formula, I'm finding that I can queue up several ingredients that safely traverse the map before I need to do my first stir. However, stirring to the end point of four or five ingredients is needlessly tiresome. Would be nice if there is a feature that allows you to simply jump to the end of whatever ingredient chain you have in the pot.

You don't have to stir all the way until the end of an ingredient in order to brew a potion. Many difficult to brew potions will require you to stop stirring before taking advantage of the full 'length' of the ingredient, and since that's what you'll be doing a lot of in order to accurately brew complex potions, an autostir feature would see very little use for anything but the most basic potions.

Yes, it would be nice to bind "auto-stirring" to a key. The game definitely needs some QoL improvements like that, otherwise I fear that the later gameplay will be overly tedious.

You're not understanding what I'm asking for though. I have, literally, put down a five or six ingredient chain that makes a completely safe path and I know I need to stir that path to the end. Why should I have to do meaningless mouse fiddles for 15 second while it traverses the path? Nor would I call a six+ ingredient train a "basic" potion. Now, I might need to do a partial stir or add some water after than, but if I've not added that next ingredient to the chain, an autostir doesn't disrupt that.

+1 to autostir, also it would be nice to select a point in the path so you can stop where you want.

Would be nice for accessibility and also just plain those of us who value our wrists/hands. I'd like for it to be a menu option (but disabled by default), but also unlockable in a playthrough. (Magic spell you can trade from the wizard?)

I think it'd be overpowered if you can stop whereever you want, as I think the core mechanic now is that it's a precision task, and is part of the fun. No risk, no gain. I agree that the feature is not great ergonomically, and if you're just stirring fully that feels like unnecessary work. The option of fully grinding with one click seems appropriate to me.
