help
i cant figure out how to do a frost or a light potion. game offers no help for this.

You need to explore the map, using your components.

If you see some faint lines towards your beginning place, it's a hint that there's a potion in that direction.

you only get a '?' every where til successfully make potion? far as i can tell im not supposed to go over some parts of the alchemy map cause potion fails if i go over those areas?

Yes, you need to create the potion to identify the ?
Don't go near skulls/bones.

i hardly can make any money in this game. why is it so hard to afford this stuff miner and other alchemists bring me. am i getting some merchants to early. does this game need some major balancing?

do i need to forget chapter 1 recipes so i can get chapter 2 recipes?

haggling is very confusing i get all the things to go left but price goes down instead up. top of screen says + is on left but it appears backward or something.

can i ignore haggling and still come out on top. i barely understand it now.

You can ignore haggling, just sell tier 3 potions because customers will pay more for those. You can also invest in Trading, it's like raising the prices of your items.

any recipe you discover and brew is counted, so if you make chapter 4 recipe in chapter one, you still complete the task and won't have to do it again in chapter 4. The only exceptions are the special recipes like Rubedo, Nigredo, etc

Some merchants do come early, I tend to only buy the basic ingredients or stuff that is on sale. Haggling will reduce the price but some people don't like that system

in the beginning you need to explore the map, also if you invest in map visibility that can reveal a bigger area. You also don't always have to start from the beginning, you can click on a potion you already made and select "continue brewing from here" which will start you where you last finished that potion. I made quite a few useless potions in the beginning just to reveal the fog of war.

i been exploring more but i have a task "I HAVE TO HAGGLE" i very much rather just take a standard price then mess this mechanic. its very hard to keep the price up and it seems to go back down in a half second i have no idea what icons on the haggle screen keep it going up its more frustrating than its worth I just need to get a better deal '1 time'.

if someone would kindly explain or show a video of how to haggle in this game it be lot easier than me trying to figure it out.

im going try study the haggle screen more closely at least til i get this one task fulfilled.

i figured the haggling out sort of I guess you just click kind of fast and hit right time over the icons then finish when it hits one end icons.

Now i need to get 2 effects on a potion so im going try figure that out.

i think i will wait before i try figure out more with haggling. so far it seems just need to be quick and click over the icons.

How do I get two effects on a potion? almost done chapter two this is last thing i need to do. i try figure this out it's nice to have some challenge in a game like this.

boil a potion so you have one effect, then move to the other effect you want and boil it again

so in chapter 2 do they ask for a specific double effect potion or do i just experiment and find one. i thought frost and sleep might work? just tell me if there are several double effects that work or let me know if this is simple as going the path to right potion from the first one? i want try figure out on my own but dont want to over do it if its going to get me no where.

i had one customer i thought wanted berserk but found he wanted lightning during first week or so.

also is it better give customers weak potions before raising my popularity to keep pace with other things in game? or do i want most all rank 3 potions before getting far?

seems i wont always have the ingredients for rank 3 potions but i can probably edit ingredients as i get further in game.
