No wizard stopping by in the morning

I have gotten to day 30 and the wizard has not stopped by in the last 7 days, before that he stopped by like every morning, because of this i have not been able to progress in the game any further cause i had yet to upgrade the alchemy machine.

Bad RNG. Sometimes you get really unlucky with merchants. He'll show up again eventually. Just keep grinding money and ingredients in the meantime.

Same issue here. The crystal dwarf arrives first every morning and I want to smack him in the face sometimes.

Could well be bad RNG, but I suspect the parameters need tweaking.

I had the same issue, the problem for me I think was bad reputation. Try to up your reputation to at least 80. Once I had enough rep the Wizard stopped by and I could buy the machine.

it could be my imagination but it seems to me that if you don't buy anything from a vendor they seem to take longer to come back around next time. for a while I never bought anything from the dwarf and when I finally started making enough gold to buy from him it took him quite a long time to finally show back up and seemed to visit more frequently now that I buy from him every time. Same with the wizard, when I finally had enough to get the 1st part of the alchemy machine it took him like a week to visit after I had saved up enough.

I'm having the same problem. Dwarf shows up first thing every single day, but no Wizard for ages. I was thinking the same as Kapi, that it might be reputation, but I got my reputation up to 100 for days and he still hasn't arrived.

Have the same issue. Btw. Reputation has nothing to do with vendor appearence since it isnt implementet yet.

So good news for me, the wizard finally showed up for me, if things are gonna end up like that perhaps the days the merchants show up need to be changed somehow cause so long without a visit can be pretty frustrating

i'm on day 30 atm, been waiting on the wizard since about day 12. some days no merchant turns up first thing, which i thought was normal, but.. i dunno man, i might just be out of my mind at this point. let me progress the game you inscrutable little magic man.

Only correlation seems to be that I didn't buy anything from any other merchant the previous day. But that could just be random.

The dwarf also sometimes take time to appears. Bad RNG. A couple of days without dwarfs. :/

He seems to know when I don' have money and shows up on those days, lol

I think the frequency of shopkeeps is based on reputation. I hold at 100 and they come every single day, but when I make a few unscrupulous sales, they seem to be less reliable.

Not true. I had let my reputation drop to lower than -80 while grinding chapter VII and merchant frequency has not changed.

I was stuck in a similar situation, it took until day 30 for him to show up again. Since he locks progression I would really want this character to show up on a regular schedule instead of using RNG in this case.
