Mage doesn't come anymore
after some days the mage ist not coming only the outher sellers is this a bug or do i just have bad luck

Unfortunately it's just bad luck. Some runs he comes frequently, some he doesn't. It can make expanding your recipe book pretty frustrating I know.

It's luck. But if you don't mind savescumming, you can save your game before you go to bed and reload if you don't get the merchants you want the next day, as they and their stock are rerolled at the beginning of each day.

I haven't tested it properly yet, but I had a similar problem and it seems that one of the following may be a trigger for him to come back:
- Completing a recipe on the Alchemy machine (hence you may need equipment)
- Erasing a recipe in your recipe book (hence you may need more enchanted paper)

Ok, then maybe I just happened to see him multiple days in a row as I was progressing with the Alchemy machine and deleted multiple recipes, after a very long period of no-show

Edit: it just felt really weird, because for maybe ~10 days in a row I had the miner show up first in que, and then see either the herbalist or the mushroom seller around mid-day.
Then after I leveled-up in popularity and deleted a recipe (completely ran out of enchanted paper), I finally saw the mage.
