Snowmen keeping dying

I don't know what is causing the snowmen to slowly die, I've tried removing their traits but the just keep taking consistent damage till death.

For some reason, when you change the Subspecies Editor traits, it will apply them to every living member of that species, but when you change Birth Editor traits the changes will only apply to any new members of that species. In other words, removing the Heliophobia trait from snowmen in their subspecies menu doesn't do anything right away, you'll need to create new offspring of them with Smooth Jazz for them to stop dying.
