Eternal Chaos not unlocking

I've had a world in the age of chaos for more than 1000 years, and the achievement is still not unlocking. the world is about ~1300 years old, and i'm sure I started the chaos before year 100. I did, play this world over different play sessions for a couple of weeks. do I need to do it in one sitting?

It could be that it needs to be in one sitting, I'm not sure. I got it in about 10 minutes by enabling the debug menu (spam-click the burger icon in the Settings menu) to unlock 40x speed, starting a new Tiny world, pausing the age on Chaos and just letting it run.
