no one is reproducing fast enough for adequate population replacement.

in some cases causing mass extinction.

sometimes populations reduce without any obvious cause/explanation.

it might have something to do with poor interactions between the new AI systems and reproduction, Ai talk a lot and gather resources a lot , not taking the time to reproduce.

I have noticed more of a population when i have animal babies and animal spawning turned off though and some ages seem to cause a sharp decline, even full extinction.

Multiple things seem to factor in to this, although ultimately i think its down to a bad reproduction rate.
