Can we just stop with unlocks?
Everything should be unlocked by default. I don't want to play a puzzle game, I want to play a god game. FFS.

I think it's for the best that we have so many people making new threads about this. It helps reveal that the people telling us to shut up about it are actually a minority.
two words: Forbidden knowledge. it will lock you out of most of the achievements though, but you'll have access to EVERYTHING

Don't revive this thread. The recent patch addressed all unlockable issues, there's nothing to complain about now.

What do you mean? I haven't found a way to turn it on without sacrificing elves (although I don't have any problem with taking the time to do that).

The unfairly difficult achievements are no longer required to unlock anything. The dev listened and they're now completely optional. We're back to how Worldbox was before, all you need is to discover traits now. Any traits locked behind achievements are now easy to obtain.

I Enjoy it because it forces you to explore parts of the game and understand what everything does so you can incorporate more things into your playthrough. Ofcourse everyone has their opinion, but as someone else has said, there is a game cheat to unlock it all.

When you create a world, there is an option to turn on forbidden knowledge without "the sacrifice". Don't know if you need to make "the sacrifice" at least once to show up or not.

That's not what this is about. Look here:

Don't be lazy, man. The only unlockables left now are easy. Dev listened and removed all the unfairly difficult/random ones.

Well you should have clarified. Also, you're calling ME the lazy one? You literally complained so much about having to sacrifice elves every time.

I complained because it was the only response everyone had to literally anyone asking for help unlocking content. That was before Gavrilov's guide was finished and long before the new unlocks became common knowledge. I think you'd start complaining too if you were asking for help making progress and everyone was only telling you about the cheat option.

right, so everything is still locked then, but the toggle to unlock everything is there right?
