First off, people are saying its April 1st in their area, but that doesn't mean you can expect it to be out immediately, the timezone that Maxim is in is likely hours behind, or there is a scheduled time for the update, so be patient.
Second, the point of it is that it is an open beta, and it will likely have a lot of bugs, so please at least report bugs in a helpful manner than complaining the update is buggy, it really isn't a helpful report for the devs unless it is formal and detailed.

Updates were regular prior to this one. Customers have every right to be upset.

Coding games is not an easy task, especially if the devs are adding more content or refining already existing content so people will continue to the play the game. Yes, the lack of bigger or medium updates feel like it's been 6 years since we've seen anything interesting of note. The actual update will be most likely released within April, this just to have people bug test and suggest additions and whatnot before the official release. If anything, we should be thankful were even playing world box and not a waiting for it in a development hell situation. You have to remember that smaller studios or one's publishing their own games don't have millions or more in money to throw at projects, even though those projects end up being bad anyway. This ain't the 90s, 2000s, or early-middle 2010s where you get full games.
