Life is A Sim is a Scam (case closed)
Life is a sim is a scam of a achievement, I have 44 hours and still havent got it, it ridiculous, Im having to inflate my game time with 5 hour afk sessions, its the last achievement before I 100%, is this normal? or am I just my usual unlucky self?

UPDATE:
For the achievement you just need to run the game for 24 consecutive hours, thanks to everyone who commented. So now I have 100% the game :)

It's true. I kept my desktop PC on for about 5 years before the motherboard died, and it was an older used model I had bought from a friend. I only turned it off when I was gone from the house for like a day or more.

i'll just throw the basic physical properties of mundane metal into the mixture.

it shrinks when cold and expands when warm...
its not much but it still is stress that causes micro damage over time.

the less a piece of metal has to "work" the happier it will be... just looking at all those tiny solder points and wires that are inside a plain old computer.

Very fair point. I had not thought about that. One of those scientific facts I should have remembered. I know wood does the same thing, shrink and expand with temp changes. I am reminded of that every time my house creaks in winter.
I personally have 36 hours on the game (or something like that), and I don't have the achievement yet, either. I *think* you have to run it for 24 hours straight. I'm going to try tonight and, tomorrow evening (or on Saturday), we shall see if my hypothesis is correct.
