That said, I was surprised to see the increased cost when it first hit Steam. I do think it would have sold way better if it were a bit cheaper. Even dropping the price by 25% would be enough for way more people to buy it.
Personally, I think the price is fine. However, WorldBox is one of those games who's value is heavily dependant on your ability to make your own fun with it. I would advise people to try out the mobile version first to see if you like it, as they are the same, with the exception of the PC version having access to modding, larger world sizes, and all the powers unlocked by default.
As of right now, the largest update the game has ever had is in development, and it appears to be adding many of the most requested features and systems. Maxim said either on Twitter or Reddit (I can't remember which?) that he may make another update post on Steam in the near future, but as I've told many people, the best places to get updates on the game would be the subreddit, and Maxim's Twitter.
I sort of went on a tangent here, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
