In my case I am not interested in mods, mostly because of not risking to contaminate my old save files, which I kept running for ingame millennia. Though I am intrigued by this mod that regenerates/erodes places on the map automatically.
Not saying it is not a plus in case of WorldBox, but I think it needs time to be really counting atm.
But I have to agree with OP. As it stands, it's fun for creativity for a while and running in the background but really $10-15 is more reasonable. I only hop on nowadays for maybe 10-15 minutes... usually to plant the seeds of civilization.. then I come back hours later.
Still an awesome game though. Just hope it gets bigger/deeper with next update.
It's not bait, he's completely right.
It's a cute game, and for like 5 bucks I'd consider buying it, but it is absolutely not worth 20 bucks and the developer has done literally 0 sales. I know because I have it on my wishlist for years now. They're literally milking people with this while the original mobile game costs a fraction of this AND has a free to play / demo mode. For a 20€ god simulator I'd expect a lot more than a casual mobile game.
Another Thing that bothers me: There are no real Problems besides War, Creature Attacks and Catastropes. You can just put two People on a tiny Desert Island and they will still somehow be able to build a Village because apparently they are Gods too that can create some Things from nothing. What are they making their Tents out of? I could put them on a volcanic World where no Tree has ever grown and no Animals roam and they will still somehow build Stuff
20 dollars is pretty ridiculous but come on now
more hours of fun than what 20 dollars for weed can get you.
