GREG and 24 hour achievement bugged!?

These are the only two achievements I have left. I have 30+ hours in game, have not received the life is a sim. Also, I have activated greg in the debug multiple times and left the game running all night. I have tried this with only humans, LOTS of mines, as well as other race combinations. Please help....

24 hour requires starting a game and just letting it actually run non-stop for 24 hours. You can alt-tab out of the game while it runs in the background.

Greg was a pain since you have to 3 big cities with mines as well as other disasters turned on to get him to spawn. I just kept feeding new people into my three biggest cities on a map that was all land while having revolutions and wars turned off to minimize losses.

I thought you only needed to wait for Greg to appear? What's this mine and 3 big city nonsense?

Greg is considered an "other disaster" so you need it on for him to spawn and like the necromancer from "other disaster" he only spawns from mines but the devs built in a system for greg and necro to prevent small towns from being bullied and dying the second they get a mine so they need 3+ towns
