Monolith Purpose Discovered!

When I discovered the monolith in the toolbar it reminded me of the Monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. In the movie, it inspires the first human to use a bone tool, which is why I figured it would be funny to place a group of monkeys in front of the monolith.

To my surprise, after about a minute on sonic speed, one of the monkeys became a human and started a village. I'm pretty sure this only happens in the savannah biome, but I could be wrong.

I think this is a great Easter egg, and a cool way to bring the first human into your world.

Edit: Humans that have evolved from monkeys will maintain the monkey’s traits, so enjoy naturally agile geniuses.

I've been trying for a bit now and it doesn't seem to be working for me. I basically filled a map with savanna, placed a monolith, and then placed a heck ton of monkeys before going into sonic speed. But, alas, my monkeys all remain monkeys
