Yes. me too. For Windows 7. I understand I have an old DirectX. Simple file d3d11.dll replacement doesn't help, It only destroys your Windows.

same here .I tried the directx end user webinstaller.He says I have the same or a better directx version .Installing is not necessary.

I've been having this same issue since yesterday on:

- 64-bit Windows 7 SP1
- GTX 1080Ti (driver version 452.06)
- I have also ensured DirectX 11 is current using the Microsoft utility

No luck.

Same issue. Works fine on my Win10 box, but "d3d11 failed to initialize" on my Win7 box.

Google says it's a DDI 11.1 thing. DXDIAG shows DDI 11. But i havevthe newest driver + DirectX + the Windows Update for SP1 that installs 11.1..... Can no one help?

This sucks. I waited 8 years for the chance to play the game and now it doesn't work. Extremly disappointing.

Same (and now I've just spent half the morning trying to recover my system from a bad graphics driver update!!)

Graphics driver version 19.12.2
DirectX 11. dxdiag reports no issues and the webinstaller reports that there is nothing to install.

As far as I can see, there is no issue with my system. Other games (Shadow of the Tomb Raider) that require DX11 run absolutely fine.
