Stuck In Gloomy Cellar (GOG Version)

Hello. I seem to be stuck inside of the Gloomy Cellar. I died at some point, and for some reason the game started respawning me above some spikes. I die instantly while the game is loading before the screen fully unblacks. I've tried holding left or right, along with tapping the jump to see if it gets me off of the spikes but that doesn't seem to help. I've also restarted the game.

Windows 10 Pro 1909 (latest updates sans 2004 update)
Intel 8086k
GTX 1080Ti (latest drivers)

Game version: GOG 1.3 (seems to be latest patch: https://imgur.com/7UT7lSA )

I think they said this bug's gonna be fixed in the next update. In the meantime, enabling Quick Respawn should help you out.
