Is this game woke or nah?

The last time I asked this the discussion got removed from the matrix before I got to even read it - I really like the look of this game but wanted to know from those who have played it if it shoves woke ideology and writing down your throat like the Outer Worlds did or if it properly represents the era the game is set in.

20 hours on the game, getting near the end, nothing has felt woke at all. Its a wonderfully crafted game with many different views on things such as religion, the time period its set, family, death and much more.

It's really impossible to answer this because there is no real good definition of what "woke ideology" even is or means. Some people will think a game is "woke propaganda" for just simply showing or talking about any themes regarding race, gender, or sexuality, which this game does, so I have no idea what your personal views are on that.

I played through Outer Worlds and I don't remember ever encountering any "woke ideology", I just thought that game had terrible writing for other reasons, and the gameplay was super boring.

No bs in this game at all. There are parts of the game that represent the power inbalance between the haves and have nots, but no forced diversity or leftist political dribble.

I don't think I'd call it woke exactly. I'm around 9 hours in and it's got a small handful of non-white, Jews, and non-straight characters. So far I think they're handled very well and don't feel out of place and it doesn't feel very preachy

It doesn't "shove woke ideology down your throat," no. They had the decency to make it less egregious, but there is a very obvious feminist narrative throughout the game. Personally, tidbits about "we women are not free" was a bit over the top for me. I didn't mind the representation of homosexuality and skin colour prejudice, but the feminist bit was a little too preachy.

That being said, the female characters are actually well-written enough to negate that unpleasantness, so I recommend you try the game.
