Soul crusher location?

Its mentioned in the final update post, but im at 99% map and I never saw it. Beat the game. Is it in a hidden room, breakable wall maybe?

It's a random drop from the Oak (regenerating wood golem) enemies in stage 5.

But how do you actually kill Oak? He's like the blood skeleton in Castlevainia. Does he just drop it when he falls apart?

Each time you break it apart, it counts as a kill. Just keep smashing it until it drops the sword (it looks like the one it carries, but the item drop will be at a 45 degree angle instead of sticking straight in the ground).

There's actually a room that has about 5 oaks in it, that's the best place to grind for the weapon (and it is quite literally the strongest sword apart from the secret in the final boss).

Surprisingly enough, the Vampire sword (which drops from the Lifeless King enemies in stage 6... there are two right near the shop which are great for farming) is even better than the final secret weapon based on both DPS and weapon reach.

Not sure if you are looking for another weapon but I got "soul crusher" from the center of the map in the spot when you have to jump 50 times until the floor is destroyed. What is so special about this weapon anyway? I ended up using Jitte because it does good damage and kill fast but I'm interested in that weapon that Drakan Wolf mentioned.

The weapon you got from the center of the map is NOT soul crusher, but a easter egg weapon that's a joke called 'soul cruncher'. It's a really good early game sword, but the soul crusher itself was a legendary sword in Record of Lodoss War, a cursed demon sword that held great dark magical power. It's been a prominent weapon in the story. The weapon from the final boss is earned by not getting hit at all during the first part.

the drop for the Soul Crusher is not that random: in fact, you have to defeat 100 oaks in a row. Very good weapon btw
