Stuck in the game

I just received a green key item but I don't know what to do with it as I've already been opening green doors. I've been everywhere but I can't progress.

As far as where to go next, travel through the Yellow gate in the lower left of the map, Stage 3.

I tried to but it won't let me go through that door. :(

And you stepped on the yellow switch just north of that door? If so, and the yellow doors wont open, that's a strange bug and I'd look at verifying the integrity of you game files on Steam.

You are correct. The other yellow gate in that area had a switch I didn't step on. Very strange how that works. Can progress fine now. Thank you.
