Why should I buy the game?

Just watched a stream earlier and noticed the enemies don't really do anything .. and the game is incredibly short with no ng+ or randomized elements to it...

Is there anything else special with this game that is worth buying?

NG+ and other extras will be (estimated) updated at 7/13 according to the latest news. Though I'm pretty certain NG+ would be player parameter change only... The extra modes are all datamined, they will most likely gonna execute the lazy way to add so-called "difficulty"...
Other than that it's a pretty generic Metroidvania title but with fluent action response at most time - except those arrow puzzles. Saying that, the control scheme in this game is still one of the better thing in the newly released Metroidvania titles at 2020-2021.

If you are a fan of the Record of Lodoss War IP (like me) then you will love all the lore and stuff in here. Otherwise it is a pretty competent metroidvania that although short does not overstay its welcome and it is fun to play.

Honestly, if you are interested, buy it. If not then don't.

thanks for the input, I was hoping this'd grow into something like dead cells or hades type of replayability but maybe it's just not doable for this dev. Not a big fan of the anime series, I think I got bored after a few eps from wayyy back. Pretty movements though.. but sadly it's not enough to pull me in unless something big comes up soon.

This game is not on 93% for nothing. The playtime staying next to the price is just fine and NG+ is announced long enough to come in a few days.
If you just wanted to tell the Steam world that you didn't like the series, OK.....congratulations. And if you can tell just by looking at this game you don't like it at all, why bothering coming here, play something else, there is more than enough on the market.

@series: nope, I only gave my opinion because someone mentioned it above. I'd rather stay for the gameplay and replayability which is why I made this thread to ask about it.
