Surprising considering I have 124 hours in the Demo and it played flawlessly for me the whole time. Will have to wait to get the game myself as they sort of priced a EA game a bit high for me. But will keep reading and watching how things turn out.
Addendum:
Yeah not all the quest are set up so you can complete them if you have any disabilities that can stop you from doing the parkour in the game. Getting the Farmer is out for me due to the double grappling hook thing they have set up. after a few dozen tries and dying over and over I give up. This is a game stopper as the Farmer is needed in so many areas of the game.
Note at the Devs:
They could take some pointers from games like Dishonored, by making more then one way to achieve the goal you need to do. some of the Dungeons do have alternate ways in. Just not this one to get to the Farmer, Not caring if I get all the loot box's or not just getting to the NPC is enough. A simple fix would be to make that one button where it can be shot and triggered. though Bow shots may not be able to even reach it.
I presume it's because they built game multiplayer-first, as in, single player was a bit of an afterthought (which is why they probably call it private mode, because it's more like a private self-hosted server, than an actual singleplayer experience).
The likelihood of them changing this is close to 0. It would just be an immense amount of work for little reward.
Have you found a way to disable Bloom?
i need a pause button
It is not meant to be just like real life, games are an escape from reality. If reality demands it, we have to break from the game to deal with life. There is no downside to them putting in a pause feature, and it would only help to get them more players who have busier lives. Every game that is not online should have a way to pause it, otherwise it hurts the game.
Because their end goal is to sell the game. Why are you able to pause a sports game? It is not "realistic" to pause the action of a sports game. Why can you pause in the middle of a fight in any game? Is that realistic? This has nothing to do with being realistic, it is about being practical. You don't have to use pause if it is there, but many of us have lives that demand our attention now and then, and this makes the game more enjoyable for us by being able to pause it. People who want a pause button also loves these kinds of games.
A pause feature doesn't have to let you use menus or anything else while it is paused, just freeze everything until you unpause it. There is no downside to having this in any game.
