Ugh.. I'll just revisit it when either mods get fixed or they at least double the level cap. I hit 25 before I even got halfway through the game.
Thanks for the responses.
Mods are fixed? Are they broken? I never had known they even existed for Enshrouded.
Oh, and hitting 25 before beeing through the content aviable is good, because that is just 33% of the map.
I am relatively sure you missed the point, that this is EA and is not yet the full game.
Whats the point - if you are overleveld for every area in the game before its even released the game would just be boring. Dont ruin your own fun.
Go in a level 1 area with level 25 and try the combat - then pretend its the rest of the game - doubt thats fun.
I think thats a problem in general - people that enjoy building will overlevel without even wanting to do that.
I would prefer a way to stop my character from leveling with an item etc. so that the content is more fun and i can build without leveling way too much.
Honestly since they fixed the 60fps bug i've just enjoyed a bit of gliding/running about and not getting a headache.
Some of you don't want to level fast, others do.
I like combat and I like building. Both of which I do a lot of... which causes me to level which is a good thing.
Level caps in general are dumb, but low level caps like 25 in a game this size smacks of lazy developers that didn't want to balance the game properly... EA or not.
But, that's my opinion.
Yeah and your opinion is pointless.
1) level caps in general are mandatory if you dont have a boring level-scaling world
2) Level Caps mean nothing - you can make 20 levels as impactfull and long to level as 2000 levels
3) you obviously have no idea what EA even means - just dont buy EA in the future plz
My statement: Your opinions are fine
Your statement: My opinion is pointless
Ok, troll.
You're just whining and being petulant for the sake of it. Put the game down and come back on full release. EA titles are clearly not for you.
For the record, be very careful and make back-ups of your characters and worlds when using trainers and other cheats/etc. available for Enshrouded as they work by messing with runtime variables and app memory and can cause file corruption or a myriad of other issues.
There is currently no official or unofficial mod support for Enshrouded. The devs have also released a statement in their FAQ regarding modding:
Will the game support mods?
There are no questions that mods are what makes a game truly great, but at this stage, we cannot make promises that the game will be moddable, but it is something we would love to implement in the future.
