Taken a break from it due to those things myself. Tried to stay with it since at it's core its a good game, but these things add up.
You also can't limit FPS in the game on top of the 5-6 missing graphical options. You have to use an external tool or Nvidia Control Panel to limit it. Are we sure this game came out in 2024?
The only actions you can hold to perform when gathering, yes. Mining and chopping. The Hatchet (?) you get at the start counts as a weapon, for example, and won't autoswing if you want to use it for breaking objects. Even though it's great to break objects with due to its animation and strength. Wands don't autoswing. Torches, too.
There is nothing you can defend about this game when it comes to the points I provided. "Works well on my machine" isn't an argument, especially since you gave absolutely no details apart from your GPU. The game does work well at 60 FPS, but I'm sure my friend didn't buy a 144 Hz monitor and a 3060 Ti to play games at 60 FPS. Last time I asked, he also had a Ryzen 7 5800X with 32 gigs of RAM along.
I'm sure you didn't buy a 3080 to play games at 60 FPS either, if I would take a guess. At least not unless you prefer to play in high resolutions.
The game is good, but devs need to do some serious work to iron out the wrinkles.
Exactly. They are all good points, but OP is being a bit over-dramatic...
When unironically every other game I own isn't blinding me with excessive bloom/eye adaptation? Yes, it's "legit unplayable" for my standards. The blurry vignette also distracted me a lot once I started noticing it.
I'm glad I didn't buy it myself (even though my friend asked me to, before we tried it together) only to find out the things I mentioned after I paid for it. I'll probably buy it once they do fix the issues and add options for the bloom, vignette and eye adaptation, though.
It’s okay, you just didn’t understand what they were saying. Maybe read the OP before commenting.
i dont have that stutter, it maxes out on say 130 and lowest 60 it drops when it changes to dusk and dawn. but other than that its super smooth, all graphic setting at max vsync off ofc (freesync). 3060 is a weak card tho, dont go expecting that to pull you into 144hz area, waste of monitor.
w10 updated
freshest nvidia driver
i7-10700
3080
32gb
game runnin of a m2 disk
ofc it doesnt autoswing in combat, thats not how you fight, you block and dodge. autoswing combat is pointless. gathering is where autoswing is important and thats already in.
none of your points are legit imo. and overuse of bloom that has to be a monitor calibration thing because i just dont see it. sure there is fog sometime in the forest and in the shroud but that looks great. i have no halos around lightsources or windows etc.
and you limit fps directly in nvidia settings, like i have a 143 max cap since my monitor only supports freesync between 45 and 144fps. whats the point of having a cap in the game ? only reason to cap is gsync or freesync or heatissues, so why would you need games to be independentlu capped ?, the cap also works better through the drivers.
Everyone has it. Nice try though.
