Stay under/behind it. Watch out for the tail attack. Make sure you spec into health recovery with critical hits and have a decent sword. Ignore the things that get summoned.
Those were key for when I soloed it. Attacking restored my health (still had to use some healing potions).
I will try again :)
This - but I think it is charging the summons - breath attack can't be interrupted IIRC.
It makes the boss trivial... otherwise you'll be hitting it for awhile.
Bring lots of bandages to heal it easy to take a min to heal when he is stuck in an animation and if you just run instead of spamming dodge you wont run out of stamina. Some heal pots help ALOT in case you mess up and your life gets low for a quick HP full up.
Gather Elixer Wells. Level up. I would personally recommend level 16 or so for that guy solo.
Get some constitution food and regen food and bammo. dun.
You are one of the most consistently negative posters I see in this forum Nerevar
Also he wipes his tale, same stuff
Then he looks up and blowes a few balls in the aire like bombs. One will detonate where you stand so move.
And finaly he will stand up and open his mouth to summong bugs. That is your key. Shoot him in the mouth and he will be numm for about 10 sec. In that short space of time he is vunrable for all atacks. But only then.
After he wakes up the entire show repeats itself. Can take a while to take him down and YES he scales according to your level so I noticed to my shame and multiple deads. Still need him down and I am lvl 21 now. (every mob in town also scales)
the enemies in this game do not scale. nowhere. dont spread missinformation please. they are level 15. the player is capable of fighting enemies 5-10 levels above themselfs by default. so the tc isnt underleveled. he might be undergeared but thats hard to tell without him provideing that information in the first place.
he doesnt scale. neiher do the mobs in town. youre straight up makeing things up in that sentence.
but atleast the dragon is the only real cool bossfight in this game currently. i hope they got more and harder ones of this type of battle down the road.
Neravar? oh yeah, he is negative. He is the ONLY person on all of steam that I have blocked. Ever.
He's that way in every game and every forum I have ever seen him post in. Actually now, I never see his posts, since he's blocked. But before, most of his posts were negative and consisted of snide remarks that boiled down to "git gud". He never offered any constructive help.
To the op, doge-roll, a lot. Biggest tip I can give. Use dodge roll for those invulnerability frames. And learn his attacks.
Head tilted straight up at sky? dodge roll immediately, he's launched attacks into the air, they're about to rain down.
Turns to face you? he's charging up a breath attack, dodge roll to the side. He can follow you but turns really slowly.
Just stands there while energy flows into his mouth? he just summoned a ton of insects. He's a sitting duck, but you're about to swarmed by the critters.
And if you get too far away, he leaps at you, huge impact radius. Dodge roll is about the only way to survive that at low levels. Or high ridiculously high armor. My level 25 character with level 25 armor (drops from chests) can get hit full on and take less then like 5% of his health bar, and heals back in seconds due to talents and gear.
But I had completed everything I could reach in the game map, so I cheesed a stairway into the Nomadlands and levelled to 18. Explored everywhere I could reach again, but any further upgrades were gated in red shroud until the Wyrm was dead.
With the best gear I could get, which included a good sword, a great bow, and and an OP wand, and dozens of practice runs I tried again. I never got him down past 80%. Not even close.
I was left with three options: 1; Quit the game and give it a D- review because I couldn't reach 40% of the content, 2; Go to Elwynn Forest to grind boars like the South Park crew to add levels but no gear and hope to do better at L 25 after skipping all the other content because I can't reach it, or 3: Cheat or mod the game. Thankfully the wemod app is already figuring out that the game needs adjustment. I used it just long enough to kill the worm and open that gate.
Until I realized it will also turn off the shroud timer completely too. I urgently disliked the shroud timer. Getting rid of it brought my eventual review up an entire letter grade.
Try the Wyrm until it's not fun any more, then kill him with the wemod app. It's free, and only takes a few minutes to download.
