WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
This is a "survival game", a pretty tame one that already has a fair number of QoL improvements that aren't present in more difficult titles.
Perks should be part of the progression system in a "survival" title. If you are getting everything handed to you right out the gate, what is there to work towards? Also, as an aside, I don't want my hand held while working through these kinds of games. Part of the enjoyment is the sense of discovery - I was thrilled when I discovered the perk of a magic chest and I was very happy that the game didn't take any additional steps to explain it to me, despite all the info being present as soon as you unlock the recipes.
Titles like Valheim, Last Oasis (original version), and such require you to discover components before the recipes are unlocked. It's no fun having one's hand held and consulting Google is pretty much cheating in that regard.
I mean that's YOU. Not everyone wants to or should have to play games the same way.. me I watch TONS of YT videos on games before I buy them.. I do not care about spoilers or things like that.. once again having an option.. in no way would affect you and how you choose to play games. It's a simple request. Which I'm sure there will just be a mod for if not already and some of us will just have to go that route.. which is fine.
I understand that - everyone's approach to gaming is different.
That said, the very nature of a "survival"-like game is a journey of discovery, combined with the hazards and threats brought on by the environment. Figuring things out is a huge part of the experience, for better or worse. I unknowingly put in some work (very minor work at that) in order to enjoy a perk that I didn't expect to even be offered (based on other titles I've played in the genre). It was a nice surprise :)
If I spent so much time on YouTube, it would cut into my gaming time. I'm not into that. Personally, I'd rather discover the game for myself rather than watch someone else play it. But, as you said, that's just me.
Read who you're replying to more closely. Im not the OP. so your "comeback" is meaningless and toothless. "like you"
you sounded like a fool to begin with, not surprised you finished as one too.
Why buy early access, theoretically enjoy or like the project enough to see the promise, only to refund because a desired feature is lacking within the first week of EA release?
If you believe people need to google every possible feature a game may or may not have or if and when its unlocked than you lack the appropriate brain matter for your words to be taken seriously.
P.S Don't bother responding, Ive already blocked you to avoid your brain AIDs from leaking through my monitor. Ill toss you a pity clown if it makes you feel better.
Exactly. To me crafting from any storage on base is NOT the norm and I can’t believe the amount of whining that’s occurring over this very minor issue. Be glad the game has a system for it at all.
That's a terrible thing to say to a new player. You shouldn't need to complete a game to be able to ask questions of post frustrations.
Seems silly to fill the low levels with just mundane boring nonsense.
Sounds like a solid sense of progression to me.
Then again, I have thousands of collective hours in survival games without this feature baked in at all. Requires some forethought and planning, and the ability to learn what you'll need to craft things.
