CPU Borderline max temp!
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 5.0GHZ

This should not be happening with any game do to the RTX 3080 takeing the brunt but this game makes me CPU go almost 210c even with good cooling, is this an issue anyone else is faceing?

That doesn't make any sense, at that temp the system would auto shut down or heavily throttle the CPU or the CPU would literally melt. Maybe you have it set to Fahrenheit?

According to AMD:
https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-7-7700x

Max. Operating Temperature (Tjmax) = 95°C
for the 7700X.

Maybe it is being displayed in F, but that's still like ~98.8889C

That's gotta be Fahrenheit, lol 210C would probably cause a fire. 210 F = 98 C, and yes that's slightly above your CPU's maximum of 95 C. Definitely double check your cooler / thermal paste, ventilation, fan curves, update your drivers and perhaps wait for performance patches. I would not leave it running above max CPU temp for an extended period, it's likely to cause damage.

No, its more around 90-100° celsius. Tjmax is like 105 afaik

But yes 210° is house on fire xdd

No way you're reading 210c... your CPU would have melted and your computer would have shutdown. Check your settings, brother.

If it was somehow still running at 210c your card would probably catch fire. Like Jinx said, you probably have it in Fahrenheit.

Which is still very hot, much more than it should ever get.

strange... my cpu never got over 65 Celcius

210c is 410F
Even if you have it in F. It should not exceed more than 35c. The computer will shut down. you trollin dog

7700X typically runs at 95C under load. I use eco mode so mine sits at 85C but it doesn't change the fact. It's pretty common to see it reach these temperatures and temperatures dont matter in this instance. Are you complaining that you think your CPU doesn't have adequate cooling like it's the games fault?

Ya. I'm assuming OP meant F. This is what I'm gonna dive into tho, just waiting for some patches.

Yeah haha pure nonsense

CPU and GPU have not gone above 65c over here. Add another fan or two. Or turn up your fans speed.
