I took the Board Quest to find Mari's journal near Bongo's place and i just cant find it. Any tips?

For those finding quests, you just walk around the general area described until you see a white circle pop up near your character (the same icon cursor you get when you target an item).

bongo pen items are usually either in a bush to the right of the pen entrance, or to the left of it down the hill by the water.
