Is the DLC worth it?

As the title says. I don't understand the reason of having a festival locked behind a paid DLC, and from what I'm seeing, there's not a lot of features included. I'm not sure if the DLC is worth it, but I really like this game, despite all the promotion they do for their plushies, rather than focusing updates. I hate how I waited for this big sale to finally buy the game, check the news and logs, and only sees pages and pages of merch promotions.

So I'm here asking for you guys' opinions on this DLC before I make the final decision.

Hi there! That's a totally understandable viewpoint, as far as I've seen for far I believe the price is fair for the amount of content - plus with the Trick or Treat DLC (SPOILERS AHEAD) there's a brand halloween themed new color on every dino that you can collect through the DLC content, so that could be exciting!. Imo the pricetag is worth it for both, but you might want to wait for other opinions before making up your mind ^^

I bought both of them. They are not.

If it had been part of the update I'd have been kissing their feet and prostrating myself along with dragonkin over here. Would have been a nice little something to make the game seem less empty.

It honestly depends on how much $8 means to you. It didn't mean much to me and I'm still annoyed lol.

Nope, even if you want the new dino colours they are mostly just orange and purple combo with some looking very close to their ultra rare versions already. Not worth it IMO

Thank goodness I'm not the only one. The DLC is definitely not worth it, and I'm not buying it. I didn't realize it was paid DLC until yesterday, it's upsetting to say the least. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth; this means they could do this to other holidays too.

i think these dlcs are really scummy, personally. they're so small that i don't see why they are split into two, the one that's just decor doesn't even have enough items/variety to appeal to most people, and making a holiday cost extra on top of the base game instead of just making it a normal patch update is pretty gross. even ark survival evolved, some of the slimiest devs around made their holiday events a basic free part of the game! having to pay extra for something that isn't even accessible for most of the game is just so foul.

it's extra gross that they are selling dlcs like these when the game isn't even finished yet. there's tons of bugs that were reported almost day 1 still in the game, and a lot of the content seems generally rushed and unfinished. they could at least finish the main game before trying to squeeze more money out of us :/ really hoping this is all just contract ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from a greedy publisher and the actual game devs will learn from this and never go through them again.

you get a handful of cosmetics for ur character in one and a special festival and dinos you can't access for an ENTIRE IN GAME YEAR in the other so I'm going to say no and I regret having bought it. if I'd realized I couldn't get the dinosaurs immediately I wouldn't have bothered.
