agree. a lot of the recipes that have such high mastery requirements also require large quantities of rare items, like 10 truffles per, and those can only be foraged in the wild with a dino during one season, no buffs to increase yield or anything, which is RIDICULOUS to expect people to do with trial and error.
i'm trying to fill out my cookbook and other than it being an expensive pain in the butt it was pretty consistent, until i tried pasta a la triassea and pasta carnotaur, which the ingredients listed on my cheat sheet seem to be more likely to result in plain pasta for some god forsaken reason. seriously how is the exact recipe more likely to give me a completely different dish than the one it's for??
seriously! that is insane! i guess i got lucky with mine. now that i'm getting the wrong pastas even when i use the exact recipe, i can't imagine anyone enjoying this system. it's such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that you can just randomly get the totally wrong item like that even when you're doing it EXACTLY right.
