How to harvest fruit trees ?

maybe it's a stupid question, but how do you get p.e. the apples of the tree ?
Or do you just run around it as it is bearing fruits and hope you get one ?

When it's "in season", it will drop fruit on the ground daily. You collect those. Ranges from 2-5 fruit a day in season.

also pro tip; don't put trees up against your house or any of the main border fences cuz the fruit can fall on the other side where you can't get it.
