Forest wood

Anyone have tips for getting forest wood? I feel like i only get a couple of pieces when I'm running around the forest area. I want to build some forest sleeping spots for my dinos, but the wood is taking forever.

Some logs when stomped will drop it too, though it seems to only be the ones that are specifically blocking areas in the forset.

yeah, there's stompable logs in the forest that give it, i think they're slightly darker than the regular ones?

Open up the area where the Therizinosaurus are in Dapplewood and break the biggest logs you can find. There are 2 logs near the Theris that respawn frequently, I’ve gotten up to 40 forest wood in one harvest before from these 2 logs. Although now I’m low on regular wood and have a surplus of forest wood lol

Genuinely it doesn't matter if you stomp them in the forest out in the valley you can and will get Forest one from cleaning up your yard I had like 60 plus that I ended up getting just from cleaning out my yard before I even went to the forest to look. If you do go out to the forest you are not guaranteed Forest Wood out of the logs that you break a lot of the time you will still get regular wood out of a log that you break in the forest you can tell because the forest would is slightly darker when it's a log that is on the floor ready to pick up

Really? I've been cleaning up my farm a lot and haven't gotten any forest wood from breaking the logs. Low RNG i guess?

Yeah I had so much forest wood just from cleaning up my farm. Going out to the forest does not guarantee forest wood, higher chances maybe but it's not a guarantee, the last trip out to the forest every single log I broke gave me regular wood
